WFMW: Storing sheets

It's been awhile since I've had a Works-for-me Wednesday post, because I guess I've not had a lot that really "worked" for me lately. Hopefully, I've turned a corner.

Anyway, here's a little tip that works for me. When I wash sheets, I fold them up and put them in one of the pillowcases. Then I stack them in the linen closet. And it looks something like this...
(Yes, I know that I have 15 packages of Cleanteam wipes. But they were 14 cents after coupons. We'll use them all, eventually.) Anyway, they stack really easily like this, and I never have to hunt for a missing pillowcase. It works for me!

For more great tips, check out rocks in my dryer.

  1. I do the same thing and it makes it so easy to just grab a set and change sheets!!!

  2. Wow, never thought of doing that! Thank you! I am going to start storing them this way because I am FOREVER searching for a missing pillowcase! :)

  3. Been doing this for years. Thought everyone did. Thanks

  4. Thats a great idea. Thanks for sharing the wisdom.

AND great job on the wipes! I'm wishing I'd seen that sale since I just paid a nice chunk of money on a box of wipes and it about killed me. I'd be showing off that stack to everyone who came to my door if I were you. =0)

  5. Great tip for the sheets! You have a LOT more sheets than I do though. =)

I'm glad you enjoyed my WFMW tip about the brownies and I hope you enjoy whenever you are able to make them. Let me warn you though...they are SWEET and will make you crave something like a tall glass of milk!

  6. That is a really great tip. I'm usually guilty of just stuffing sheets in my closet wherever they'll fit. Of course then I can never find them when I need them I'll have to try this! Thanks.

  7. What a great idea! I'm going to start doing this. My problem is that when anyone but me changes someone's sheets, they end up as mis-matched sets. Drives me nuts. This should solve that problem! Thanks so much for the tip!

Tell me what you think...go on, I can take it!
