A few thoughts on "The Bachelor"

I just have to get a few things off my chest today after watching The Bachelor: The Women Tell All last night. First of all, I am truly glad that Trista and Ryan are still together. I'm happy for them that they have a family, and that they still live in Vail, and that Ryan is still in the Vail Fire Department. But, must we get an update (the same update) every time there's a new bachelor? Leave 'em alone, folks!

Can we just have a reality check here, people? While The Bachelor is entertaining and at times, thought-provoking (What was he thinking when he chose her?), inspirational is NOT a word I would use to describe it. Yet that is what Jason said last night. I am not making this up. He said that, yes he came on that show to find love, but if he could just touch one person, it was worth it. Because, really, what's more touching than watching a guy make out with several different women in the span of a few days? Yep, that's inspiration to me!

And a note to Jason, when you've admitted to only going to "first base" with Molly in the tent, then you refuse to answer a question about what went on in the fantasy suite, YOU'VE PRETTY WELL ANSWERED THE QUESTION BY YOUR OMISSION. M'kay?

And I know Stephanie is an Alabama girl, everybody likes her and she's a single mom, but really, what is thinking about when she gets ready? The feathered hair, the blush, the fake gold rings on every finger. It was bad, and I mean, BAD. Seriously, does she own a mirror??

Anyway, next week is the finale. There are all sorts of rumors floating around the internet. And Chris Harrison does a pretty good job of not addressing the real rumors on his blog. Which might mean they're true. Or not. Who knows? All we know for sure is that it will be the most dramatic finale in Bachelor history...
